A very useful summary of the current situation, which matches what I've found out in my research. Yes, the Estonian letter is only (explicitly) a minority view. New Zealand's caution is welcome. Fico in Slovakia is harder to read, for someone (like me) not resident there or familiar with the language. My hope of him holding to his (explicitly set out and strongly expressed) position is dampened a little by the triumphalist tone of his whole speech (he has just won an election). I suspect him a little of copying from Orbán's playbook: telling his domestic supporters what they want to hear - which may also be what he quite possibly would really like to do - but then possibly folding or compromising in the face of pressure from outside, especially from Brussels.
I also heard some rumours about Slovenia, which seem plausible, given the new, very lockdown-critical government there. But I haven't found out any confirmation.
Anyway, the job we face here in the UK is waking up our own government from the utter (real or confected) complacency it seems to be projecting about these quite terrifying amendments. Judging by UsForThem's documentation, the Government seems to be taking a line of "don't worry your little heads about it, we've got it covered" - but simultaneously forbidding any demand for more information. We have to tell them that this is not acceptable.
I can't stop scratching my head as to whether our MP's fail us in the face of these centralising power grabs because of corruption, complacency, cowardice or just pure lack of competence.
Those of us with the ability to understand the sinister intent behind the nonsense WHO Treaty, have independently decided that the CORRUPT WHO is now obsolete and redundant.
Gates now controls the WHO and therefore we determine that the corrupt WHO is defunct and finished!

The Petitions Committee has scheduled a debate on a petition you signed on International Health Regulations legislation for Monday 18 December at 4.30pm. The Department of Health and Social Care will send a Government Minister to respond".
Does anyone here think that democracy will survive this latest example of control creep? This might seem fatuous and an overreaction but ,considering recent and current trends, I have my doubts.
The present bunch of MPs-with a few notable exceptions-seem unwilling,unable or blindly unaware of the Blighty's increasingly desperate state.
If this WHO treaty is approved, how long will it be before the next assault on health, liberty, common sense and economic and social good practice lands?
