On reflection, What needs to change is The LAW to protect Pharma from ALL liabilities & Imprisonment for Any & All Fraudulent activities which leads in particulate to injury & deaths. Pfizer as an example ( & we know that this applies to ALL pharma ) have paid the biggest Fraud Fines in history. THIS has become a Business model! which is well documented.
In budgeting ( Fraud ) the SIMPLE formula is : Make enough money ( In Multiples of Billions , aided & abetted by Politicians & regulators ) Deny all Truths, Roll out, & pay for knowing & predicted Collateral Damage ( injuries & deaths of ALL ages from months old to elderly ) in Millions as a Prolonged Legals dispute which mostly ends in nothing.
So in short: Make Billions & pay a Few Million.
No one goes To Jail.
No One looses their Jobs ( maybe the odd pawn thrown under the bus for effect )
Repeat.
Good deal right?
Conclusion: The Killing Fields are Paved with Impunity & Reward.

They have taken the Thalidomide model and refined it to an art form.
They have brazenly and transparently trotted out their malign indifference to human life and put it on display, and been ringing the cash register constantly.
Pharma is now morphing into a magic act, one of those where, right before your eyes they distract you and voila the baby birds come out of the hat where the magician had just placed some eggs.
Abracadabra, presto change-o. The human world is now completely transformed into a living sickness, that only a series of 75 injections can cure.
