Cast your mind back to the evening of January 4th, 2021. Primary-school pupils have returned from their first day at school, excited to see their friends after a low-key Christmas, with the Prime Minister having announced tougher social distancing restrictions as late as December 20th, cancelling family celebrations for many. Their older siblings wait at home to be called for covid testing – a delayed start was planned for secondary school students, who were nevertheless expecting to resume normal studies after the immense disruption of the previous nine months. Boris Johnson then appears on television to announce a third national lockdown and the second extended closure of schools. He acknowledges that “each day in education is [important] to children’s life chances”, but this was just a small part of the devastating evidence that was already available to the Prime Minister when he took the decision to close schools once again.
This is exactly what i thought. That this would have a profound affect on the mental health & learning abilities of many children. Many were put in untenable positions & many will Never recover or catch up. This was criminal & disgusting & must NEVER BE REPEATED AGAIN!!!
The crimes against humanity must never be forgotten until the justice system deals with those who committed these crimes. You know who you are, we know who you are.
However, the teachers had the govt over a barrel. They refused to go back to work on 4th January. It's well documented that the NEU called a zoom union meeting and instructed 450,000 teachers to remain at home. Schools cannot open without staff to work in them. Of course a less self serving prime minister would have said fine, in that case teachers will not receive a penny for every day they are at home. But Johnson likes to be popular. Had he done that, well, things might, just might have been different. But with teachers on strike, what we're working parents supposed to do? My guess is he felt he had little choice and took the cowards way out. He caved in.
I wrote to my MP in mid January complaining of school closures. I Stated that they knew the consequences to children by closing schools outweighed those of covid community transmission. I gave three examples of reports made to this affect. As usual I got a reply that did not answer my questions nor address tbe evidence provided.
Most of the stuff supposidly coming out has been common knowledge by us conspiracy theorist granny killers for some time.
I have lost family, friends and no longer trust my government, health service or teachers.
It has been well known that younger people and children were at almost no risk whatsoever from Covid, this data would also have been known. A large number of people in a position to influence should face criminal charges for what they have done.
The extent of the damages I suspect are far higher, and yet to be fully appreciated. That is not even to mention that the burden of the financial mismanagement of this period is on the shoulders of the very same children and youth of the pandemic.
The problem is that a public inquiry that is conducted under anyone who did not speak out at the time will never get to the bottom of the degree of atrocities committed. But we must not let the negligent, the opportunists and the cowardly get away with it and repeat this episode in the guise of other pandemics, climate emergency or any other ill thought out excuse.
My question is now, and has been since the start of this fiasco, is why didn't more 'trauma informed' and 'child development' professionals (teachers/therapists/psychologists etc) speak up at the time this was happening? Where was the so called UK wide 'trauma informed army' in children's hour of need? Cowering behind their computer screens/desks/masks and putting their own so called safety over and above that of children emotional health. Shame on them. Children are under attack from every which way. Don't forget how our children are being indoctrinated with left wing ideology including the transgender agenda. Many children have been mutilated and rendered infertile by surgery and drugs and mental anguish that is being foisted upon them. I'm so glad I grew up in a time of relative sanity
The really sad thing for me is that for so many people it is clear that the school system was already failing our young people before all this. It's another of those psychological tricks - "look how disastrous it is when schools close - so we'd better keep them open and the failing system upright instead, as it's all we've got in the way of helping kids develop and find some security in life..." We could be doing so much better for our kids than this.
And let’s not forget ( though UsForThem will not write about this for obvious reasons ) how knowingly they’ve injected our innocent children with what they knew was harmful . Guantanamo bay sound like a holiday for these people
I personally can take it all now in retrospect, as can my wife, but the harm the lockdowns/homeschooling did to my 8 and 6 year old at the time will never be forgot or forgiven by either of us. Nearly worse still, the opportunities for socialisation, playgroups, and learning that my 2yr old had completely robbed from her can never be returned.
Only now can I have rational conversations with the same parents I pointed out to over 2 years ago that our kids will suffer for this, and reach points of agreement.
Fuck all the adults, fuck all the covidiots, I couldn't care less, god knows I tried hard enough, spoke up, protested, and lost friends and family over arguements of lockdowns, masks, "vaccines". My kids tho... No amnesty, no forgiveness, some cunts need jail or worse for what they did to them.
Ignore the 'thought police' if they ever try this nonsense again! LIABILITY was supposedly TEMPORARTY way back in 1976 (Swine Flu).
